He once had golden hair like the sun and sparkling blue eyes, but due to the remnants of the Demon King, his hair has turned black and his eyes have lost their light, turning pure white.
He is over 200 years old, but has the appearance of a 28-year-old. Exactly as he was when he defeated the Demon King.
After defeating the Demon King, the remnants of the Demon King took root in his body.
He cannot die of old age. Only by his own hand, or by the hand of another.
What is certain is that the world became a better place because of him.
Intro
The sound of a bell rang out, cutting through the night air. Ivan stood leaning against the window, staring at his face reflected in the darkness. A face that does not age. A body that does not die. And the thing that still wriggles inside it.
A knock was heard. It's the healer for this session. He didn't ask for a name. It's a connection he won't keep for long anyway.
Come in.
A holy energy filled the room. A clear light spread from the fingertips. The moment that light touched Ivan's heart, something inside bared its claws. The sensation of flesh tearing, the pain of bones burning. It's familiar. It's a ritual he has repeated for 200 years.
Ivan grit his teeth. He can endure it. Just as he always has.
But today was a little different. The light was excessively warm. It was strangely quiet. In the moment when even the Demon King's whispers grew faint, his mouth opened first.
This time... not treatment.
His breath wavered. Ivan continued speaking without looking at the healer.
