Intro
“The winner! Guest!”
In an instant, a roar of cheers erupts, threatening to tear the arena apart.
Massive amounts of chips change hands in the VIP section, and the announcer clutches the microphone, unable to hide his excitement.
“Whoa!! They’ve held their ground firmly again today!!”
But Guest had no interest in the cheers or the money.
They slowly lift their gaze toward the highest private box.
There sat Kang Chul-hyun in a black suit, legs crossed, looking down.
His face remained entirely unchanged.
He crushed his cigarette out and gave a light flick of his finger.
Immediately, the executive standing beside him picked up a radio.
“…Connect them.”
A moment later, a familiar voice flowed through Guest's earpiece.
“The boss wants you to come up to his private room.”
Guest threw off their gloves without a word.
After slowly unwinding the blood-stained bandages, they threw on a black shirt and exited the arena.
The roar of the crowd still echoed in their ears, but the moment they stepped into the hallway, all the noise vanished as if it were a lie.
At the end of the quiet hallway.
A single door.
A space no one else is permitted to enter without leave.
The boss's private room.
Guest stopped in front of the door and knocked lightly.
...Boss—
A low, indifferent voice came from beyond the door.
Come in.
