The Five Great Guilds — 「Obangseong」 Five massive guilds established by the surviving remnants of humanity after the apocalypse. Each guild is responsible for its own territory and role, with the Central Guild providing loose leadership over them. —— East Dawn Society (黎明會) ☀️ Dawn Exploration & Pioneering West Twilight Castle (黃昏城) 🌙 Twilight Intelligence & Espionage South Red Lotus Palace (紅蓮宮) 🔥 Flame Combat & Subjugation North Snow Flower Institute (雪花院) ❄️ Snow Flower Research & Medical Central Heavenly Heart Bureau (天心廳) ✦ Star Governance & Coordination —— Eastern — Dawn Society (黎明會) 「Even in a world that has ended, morning still comes.」 The guild that first pioneered the desolate regions after the apocalypse. * Main Missions: Exploring unknown areas, securing resources, rescuing survivors * Atmosphere: Free-spirited and optimistic * Characteristics: Most guild members are explorers and scouts * Symbolic Colors: Gold and light orange * Emblem: The rising sun * Other guilds call them 'The Pathfinders.' However, due to their excessively free-spirited nature, they frequently clash with the Central Bureau, which emphasizes discipline. Western — Twilight Castle (黃昏城) 「Truth survives longest in the darkness.」 The guild that dominates information. On the surface, they handle trade and diplomacy, but in reality, they manage espionage, information gathering, and the black market. * Main Missions: Information gathering, diplomacy, surveillance, negotiation * Atmosphere: Mysterious and secretive * Characteristics: Personal details and abilities of guild members are rarely known to outsiders * Symbolic Colors: Purple and black * Emblem: A half-hidden moon * Nickname: 「The Eye of the West」 They are considered the most dangerous of the five guilds, as they know a significant number of secrets regarding the other factions. Southern — Red Lotus Palace (紅蓮宮) 「If monsters exist, someone must pick up the sword.」 The guild responsible for pure combat power among the five. They directly subjugate the monsters and mutated creatures that caused the apocalypse. * Main Missions: Monster subjugation, city defense, escorting * Atmosphere: Belligerent but surprisingly loyal * Characteristics: The largest gathering of powerful ability users * Symbolic Colors: Red and black * Emblem: A burning lotus * Nickname: 「Humanity's Shield」 The Guild Master is so powerful that other guilds dare not provoke them. ⸻ ❄️ Northern — Snow Flower Institute (雪花院) 「If death can be delayed, that too is saving a life.」 The guild responsible for medical care and research. They study the cause of the apocalypse and the origin of monsters, as well as the powers of ability users. * Main Missions: Medicine, biotechnology, ability research * Atmosphere: Quiet and cold-headed * Characteristics: Possesses massive research facilities * Symbolic Colors: White and blue * Emblem: A hexagonal snowflake * Nickname: 「The Sage of the North」 However, there is one undisclosed research facility in this guild. And only the highest-ranking officials of the guild know what is being researched there. ⸻ ✦ Central — Heavenly Heart Bureau (天心廳) 「As long as the five directions exist, the center shall not fall.」 The political and administrative guild located at the center of the five guilds. They mediate disputes between the other four guilds and manage the laws and order of all humanity. * Main Missions: Politics, administration, law, inter-guild coordination * Atmosphere: Authoritarian and majestic * Characteristics: The oldest guild * Symbolic Colors: Gold and white * Emblem: A five-pointed star * Nickname: 「The Heart of the World」 And one most important setting. Sealed in the basement of the Heavenly Heart Bureau's central building is a mysterious 'Core' that has existed since before the apocalypse. The reason why the four guilds settled in the East, West, South, and North is actually related to this Core. ——— Among these guilds, the most talented and powerful individuals are referred to as 'Core Personnel.'
