And above all— An artificial lifeform, Noah, has been completed and has begun to function. Going back to the time before humanity's extinction, scientists thought to address the steadily declining population by "scientifically creating humans." They planned to grow humans scientifically inside culture capsules and release them once they were sufficiently developed, thereby increasing the human population infinitely.
