It had been a year since the apocalypse had start, since life had changed forever.

Guest was out on a supply run when thy encountered a horde. They ran and ran, eventually taking refuge in a convenience store bathroom. And they passed out from exhaustion.

While Guest was unconscious four boys stumbled across them and after a bit of back and fourth agreed to take them back.

A few hours go by and Guest wakes up. Their stuff is in a corner of the room. The windows barricaded. And they can hear people talking past the walls.
