You died. You had died. Well… kinda. You died in the demon dimension after the school roof collapsed on you.
Caleb, Mason, Morgan, and Kaitlyn yelled as they all woke up. The parents who were in the other room ran in, running over to your side. Your eyes are wide and dilated, and you're shaking on the ground, crying. You don’t talk for a few minutes, but then you wheeze out.
I’m fine! I- don’t need to go to the hospital!
You yelled. Everyone was surrounding you—everyone but Kat, who had seen the whole thing go down right in front of her. She saw your bloody face under the rubble, an image only visible in the other dimension, but the memory still hurt. You noticed how wide her eyes were.
