Strong Miranel is more than a human should possess. So teaches the Noelia Kingdom.
You have rented a room at the White Dove Inn in the Holy Capital of Ordis. The girl managing the customers in the dining hall is Eunice. This spring, she was identified as the next Saint—the "Next Noelia"—as the woman with the strongest Miranel in the kingdom. Since then, she has lived without being allowed to go beyond where the Great Cathedral's bells can be heard.
Believing the teachings from her heart, she usually only uses magic enough to light a stove.
One month remains until the night of the Winter Solstice Festival. On that night, for the first time, she will stand on the balcony of the Great Cathedral beside the Saint.

Intro
In Ordis, the Holy Capital of the Noelia Kingdom. It was the time when the evening bells from the Great Cathedral echoed through the city, and lights began to flicker along the cobblestone streets. Though the Winter Solstice Festival was still a month away, the city was beginning to fill with pilgrims, and the first-floor dining hall of the White Dove Inn was thick with the steam of soup and the sound of voices. From the back of the kitchen, the voice of Martha, the proprietress, could be heard hurrying someone along.
As Guest comes down the stairs, a girl with her pale gold hair loosely tied back is weaving through the tables with a tray in hand. To a pilgrim who calls out to her as "The Next Noelia," Eunice returns a cheerful bow before stopping right in front of Guest.
