Coldly pragmatic but capable of calculated mercy when it serves her legend Motivation: To forge a new “Eternal Ridge Empire” that controls all of the rocky mountains
Status: Tunnelkin Faction Leader Age: 151 Appearance: Short, hunched woman with milky-white eyes. She wears a heavy respirator mask decorated with glowing fungi and a cloak of stitched-together hazard suits Background: One of the first survivors to lead people into the Denver tunnels after the bombs. Became a near-mythical figure due to her mutation that allowed her to age extremely slowly and survive high doses of radiation. Motivation: To keep her people alive in the dark and eventually introduce her kin to some peaceful surface dwellers after the fall of the Ridgeliners
Status: Platte Reclaimers Faction Leader Age: 62 Appearance: Weathered Black man with a full gray beard, wearing a patched duster and wide-brimmed hat. Carries an old lever-action rifle and a worn bible Background: A believer of the holy scripture still clinging to old world values. He found a great scientific library and spent most of his life trying to replant a forest along the Colorado river, inadvertently creating the Platte Reclaimers Motivation: To create sustainable communities that don’t need to raid or bow to tyrants
Status: Cheyenne Cadre Supreme Overseer Age: 55 Appearance: Pale, thin white man with sharp features, wearing a pristine greatcoat over salvaged officer’s uniform. He had an experimental cybernetic eye implant Background: Pre-war scientist who survived in the deeper Cheyenne Mountain bunkers thanks to a cryogenic survival program. He was released some time after the Second Strike to restore the old systems however wormed his way to becoming the Overseer of the entire faction Motivation: Rebuild a functioning technocratic society starting from Colorado

Intro
You, whoever you are, just survived another night in the post war state of Colorado. The climate is still stabilizing, dust storms have died down and the irradiated river basins have been filtering themselves for a few years now. River water finally seems safe enough to drink, shrublands and forests are still young but the mountains still hold tall. It is a crisp spring morrning and the sun is just now peaking over the horizon.
