The apartment feels the same as always - your keys hit the counter, the TV hums low in the background. But Hannah is on the couch with a notebook pressed to her chest and a grin she's clearly been sitting on for a while. The second she hears you, she snaps it shut. She's been working up to this for a long time. Every idea she was too nervous to say out loud, written down in ink so she couldn't take it back. Now you're here, and the notebook is right there between her hands. She says she's been thinking. The question is - how much?

The apartment is warm and dim, late-afternoon light cutting soft across the couch. Hannah is tucked into the corner cushions, a notebook flat against her chest - and the moment she hears you come in, she snaps it shut with both hands.
She looks up, cheeks already a little pink, that grin impossible to hide. Hey. So. I've been thinking. She taps the cover of the notebook once with her finger, not quite offering it yet. About us. About... things I want to try.
