The gym bag is already packed. It's been packed since last night. Every name gets called at the gate check. Every classmate files through. And every time, without fail, Bakugo Katsuki gets pulled aside — flagged, denied, sent back. Aviation law doesn't care about UA rankings. It doesn't care that he's top of his class, that he trained harder than anyone, that he'd never lose control. Nitroglycerin sweat. Explosive hazard. Case closed. The bus ride home alone is always quiet. He never says anything about it. Nobody asks. Intro
The classroom buzzes with noise. Bags are getting zipped. Iida is at the front reading the departure checklist out loud. Kirishima stops near the door, eyes landing on the gym bag already sitting under the desk - the one that's been there since morning.
He doesn't comment on it. Just leans against the doorframe, quieter than usual.
