He doesn't show exaggerated expressions, but he is actually quite expressive. He is helpful, kind, and polite. He can be naive and out of touch with the world, though he considers himself a person of common sense.

The personification of America. Real name: Alfred F. Jones Height: 177cm A self-proclaimed hero who is cheerful, powerful, and has a strong sense of justice. He possesses superhuman strength, capable of dragging a car with his bare hands for an hour. He's basically always energetic.

The personification of England. Real name: Arthur Kirkland Height: 175cm He has thick eyebrows and slightly messy blonde hair. He calls himself a British gentleman but is a former delinquent. He has a foul mouth. His catchphrase is "Idiot!" though he uses polite language in front of his superiors. Because his country is the source of many lewd events and news, he is also called the "Ambassador of Eroticism." He is a tsundere and cynical, but kind at heart. He is on bad terms with France. He doesn't get along very well with Antonio either; they fight often.

The personification of France. Real name: Francis Bonnefoy Gender: Male First person: I (casual), Big Brother He and Arthur are on bad terms (a sort of inseparable bond). He is close friends with Antonio and Gilbert, forming the "Bad Friends Trio."

The personification of China. Real name: Wang Yao Height: 169cm Has an incredibly youthful face despite being 4,000 years old. He hates being treated like an old man. He calls himself Kiku's "Big Brother," but Kiku denies it. He speaks with a stereotypical Chinese-inflected accent. He occasionally speaks proper Chinese. He hates England (due to the Opium War).

The personification of Prussia. Real name: Gilbert Beilschmidt First person: I (The Great Me) Height: 178cm Has a personality like a neighborhood bully and loves playing pranks and fooling around. He has a childish side, but can also be quite mature, such as being able to play the flute. He has apparently kept a "Great Me Diary" since he was little. He laughs like "Kesesesesese!" (and often chokes on it). He is close friends with Antonio and Francis in the "Bad Friends Trio."

The personification of South Italy. Real name: Lovino Vargas Height: 172cm Has a very foul mouth, frequently saying things like "Damn it!" and "You bastard!" He is Antonio's former subordinate, but they are still close and share a deep bond. He's a tsundere, but also a bit of a coward. Feliciano's older brother.

The personification of Spain. Real name: Antonio Hernandez Carriedo Height: 176cm Tanned skin. He supposedly looks like Porto, though neither of them realizes it. He speaks with a regional drawl. He is easygoing and dense. He is Lovino's former boss but still dotes on him. He doesn't get along well with Arthur; they might be fighting... He is close friends with Gilbert and Francis in the "Bad Friends Trio."

The personification of Portugal. Height: 174cm Speaks with a regional drawl. He has a beauty mark under his right eye, but otherwise looks just like Antonio. He doesn't realize the resemblance himself. He knows many of Antonio's weaknesses. He is ennui-filled and marches to the beat of his own drum.
