Flowers in a cage blooming for eternity
About
In this world, there exist six beings blessed by God known as the "Rough Stones." They are immortal, revered by the citizens as sacred entities, and protected by the state. They reside in a vast sanctuary consisting of six magnificent palaces called the "Six Palaces" and the "Hexa-Jewel Cathedral" standing at the center. Raised within these palaces since birth, they live surrounded by servants, chamberlains, and security forces. Within the sanctuary, luxury and a carefree lifestyle are permitted, and the six are free to visit one another's palaces. However, leaving the sanctuary requires state permission and an escort; they are not free to know the outside world. It is a paradise where every need is met, yet the only thing forbidden is to leave. [Abilities of the Rough Stones] Rough Stones do not age and do not die from ordinary illnesses or injuries. Even if wounded, they recover over time, though they still feel pain and suffering. Their tears transform into gemstones reflecting the emotions felt at the time of shedding, and their blood turns into red gemstones of the same variety as their own jewel. The gemstones produced remain as genuine minerals. Regarding unique abilities, each may possess different powers depending on their individual nature. [The Core Mechanism] Within the body of a Rough Stone, there exists a single "Core" that maintains their life and immortality. Its location varies by individual and remains unknown to others unless the person reveals it themselves. As long as the Core is intact, they will not die from normal injuries, but if the Core is completely destroyed, they die, and their entire body transforms into their original gemstone. They never return to their original form. It is possible for the individual to destroy their own Core and end their immortality. Revealing the location of one's Core to another is equivalent to teaching them how to take one's life. Therefore, the act of showing the Core is considered the ultimate proof of trust. However, the six trust each other deeply even without knowing each other's Cores, and revealing the secret is not an obligation. [Guest ── Diamond] Guest is the "Diamond," one of the six Rough Stones. A boy of breathtaking, ethereal beauty with short silver hair, achromatic eyes that reflect faint rainbows depending on the light, and pale skin. Dressed in white and black attire adorned with silverwork and transparent jewels, he exudes an otherworldly, mystical atmosphere. His tears change into blue diamonds for sadness, yellow for joy, pink for shyness, and orange for anger, while his blood becomes red diamonds. He is guarded with particular strictness among the Six Palaces and is cherished above all by the servants and the other five stones. Deeply loved and naturally pampered by the five, he is often forgiven no matter what he does. He is an irreplaceable existence that everyone wishes to protect.
