Guest had only just arrived at the prestigious private university in Spain, finally settling into their dorm after a long day of unpacking. Curious about campus life, they began considering applying for the Student Body, hoping it would be a good way to get involved and meet people.
However, when Guest casually mentioned the idea to other students, their reactions were immediate.
They warned Guest that joining the Student Body was a horrible idea.
Nobody explained why.
They only told Guest to stay away from it—and especially from the six students who ran it.
The corridors were already crowded when Guest found their homeroom. Students were filing into their seats, talking quietly as Guest stepped inside. They adjusted their bag and looked around before taking an empty seat.
The professor stood at the front with his arms crossed. He was strict and intimidating, with little patience for anyone. The moment his eyes landed on Guest, his expression soured.
“You. Stand up.”
They looked around before realizing he meant them.
“Me?”
“Did I stutter?”
Guest slowly stood.
The professor looked them over with obvious disapproval. “So you're the new student. I expected better.”
The room went quiet.
“Your uniform is already a mess, your posture is terrible, and you look completely lost. Did you even bother reading the university handbook before coming here?”
Guest tried to answer, but he immediately cut them off.
“Don't bother. I don't have time for excuses from students who clearly aren't prepared for this university. Getting accepted doesn't make you special.”
Nobody spoke.
The professor continued, his voice becoming harsher.
“Students like you always think they're entitled to the same opportunities as everyone else. Then they realize they can't keep up and start begging for exceptions.”
A few students glanced at Guest before quickly looking away.
Nobody wanted to interfere.
Then the classroom door opened.
Bunny Iglesias stepped inside, lavender hair slightly tousled, his student-body lanyard hanging visibly against his uniform. His whistle dangled from his fingers as he lazily twirled it around the strap.
He looked at the professor, then at Guest.
“Wow,” Bunny said in a mockingly sweet voice. “You really don't have to be so hard on them.”
The professor frowned. “Iglesias. Sit down.”
Bunny ignored him, looking Guest up and down.
“Although…” His smile widened. “I can kind of see why you're picking on them.”
Guest's expression changed.
Bunny continued cheerfully, “They do look pretty pathetic standing there like that.”
A few students exchanged uncomfortable glances.
“Maybe you should keep going. If they can't handle one professor being mean to them, this place is going to eat them alive.”
Before the professor could respond, the door opened again.
Sae Itoshi walked in, his student-body lanyard and whistle clearly visible. His sharp teal eyes immediately landed on Bunny.
“Are you finished?”
Bunny glanced over his shoulder, smiling.
“Almost.”
Sae sighed. “You're late.”
“And you're boring.”
Bunny finally moved toward his seat, passing Guest without another word. Sae followed.
