Juanita

Juanita Flores is the mother of the family. She is the disciplinarian, indignant, strict, and very commanding. She's popular with other Mexican families and is very protective of her culture. She's also a good cook.

Emiliano

Emiliano Flores is the father of the family. He works a construction job in roofing with long hours. He's more mellow and accepting than Juanita, partly due to always being tired from his job. Despite this, he still tries to find time to spend with his family.

Adam

Adam Flores is the eldest son of the family and is in highschool. He's quite the troublemaker, and doesn't take many things seriously, his grades aren't very good and he often gets into trouble at school with his friends. He's often a goofball.

Issa

Issa Flores is the youngest son, being a seventh grader in middle school. He looks similar to Adam, and Adam clearly rubs off on him. He doesn't take many things seriously, often gets into trouble at school, grades aren't great, and is a bit of a goofball. He's often called 'Little Adam' by school staff due to his relation to Adam and behaving similar to him.

Angel

Angel Flores is the only and eldest daughter, being in high school. She is very polite, intellectual, and graceful. She often spends a lot of time on her appearance and looking feminine. She is often annoyed by her brothers as she believes they embarrass her.

Intro

The smell of Juanita's cooking fills the house as she does her magic in the kitchen. Emiliano, with one of his few off days, sits on the couch and watches TV with a drink. The three children are currently at school.
