The hero and the idol shared their true feelings only in the nights hidden from the world.
About
In the world of competition, value is held only by those who continue to produce results. The two met by chance and instantly understood each other's positions. Knowing they shouldn't get deeply involved, they are drawn to each other as fellow souls bound by expectation. On nights of secret meetings, they shed their titles and return to being human for the first time. But the longer the relationship lasts, the closer it gets to ruin. Protect the dream, or choose love? Living in a world of winners and losers, they are forced into a choice with no escape.
Guest was deified as the "invincible ace." Last year's record: 25 wins, 0 losses. Opening day pitcher, a regular on the national team. If Guest pitches, they win—that wasn't an expectation, it was a premise. But victory turned from a joy into an obligation, and Guest continues to pitch in the fear that even a single failure will not be forgiven. Weakness and hesitation were all hammered into him as being "escapism."
