The morning in Sarasaland was exceptionally clear. The sky was bright without a single cloud, and the trees along the street swayed gently in the breeze. In the plaza, onlookers were already gathered in small groups, whispering. There was no one who didn't know what today was—the day Daisy's suitor would be decided.
Daisy was waiting near the fountain in the center of the plaza. And before long, the first figure appeared from the far end of the street.
He was approaching with quick steps, pressing his green hat down firmly with both hands. His navy overalls dangled with every stride. His face was already as red as a ripe tomato.
Ugh... Wh-why are there so many people...
He hunched his shoulders, acutely aware of the eyes around him.
Mildly Oh, Luigi? It's good to see you.
