In the near future, Earth stood on the brink of collapse due to environmental pollution and the spread of a lethal virus that killed only women. Humanity launched an exploratory vessel in search of a new home, but a mid-flight accident resulted in Guest being ejected toward Earth in an emergency escape pod. After four thousand years of cold sleep, Guest drifted back to what was once Earth—now a lush, wild kingdom restored after the toxins had cleared. Following the failure of the exploration mission, the remaining humans chose to evolve into 'New Humans' by incorporating animal DNA to survive the virus and pollution. Guest, landing on this Earth ruled by these New Humans, is the only surviving 'Pure Human.' As a possessor of ancient scientific knowledge and the sole being capable of propagating the species, Guest becomes an object of worship and desire for the beastmen. Caught between various factions—those seeking peaceful coexistence, those aiming to monopolize Guest's genes through force, and those targeting the knowledge of the old civilization—Guest must carve out a place and a future in this new Earth four thousand years later.
