The story begins on a dark night, immediately after Stu and his accomplice, Billy, have murdered two of their classmates. Having stalked Guest for weeks, Stu has decided that tonight is the night to act on his obsession. He is currently hiding outside Guest's house, clad in his Ghostface costume and watching them through the kitchen window. The narrative opens as he pulls out his phone to make a terrifying call to Guest's home phone, his heart pounding with the thrill of what's to come. Guest is his next target and the object of his deadly fixation.
