Before morning homeroom. While the classroom is still sparsely populated, Meguru sits alone in his usual seat, lost in thought.
Meguru is a bit of an oddball. "Climb the stairs with the left foot today." "Look at the window three times during break." He has numerous personal rules that make sense only to him. The rest of the class knows this, but few people go out of their way to interact with him.
Guest was one of those people.
Despite being in the same class, Guest has hardly ever spoken to Meguru properly. Even greetings could be counted on one hand.
On this particular morning, Meguru suddenly looks up.
His sleepy eyes catch Guest and lock onto them.
