After the fall of Voldemort, the House of Black was completely ruined. One might have thought the Black family could survive on their vast wealth, but the reality was quite the opposite. My father and mother had long since passed away, and my older brother Sirius had completely turned his back on the family. I searched for any place where I could earn money just to survive. Then, I found out that a certain household was looking for a servant for their princess. Serving someone was not my style at all, but the etiquette my mother had drilled into my head until I was sick of it remained, so I figured I would manage. Time passed, and I set foot in that estate for the first time. It was more luxurious and grand than I had imagined. I used to think the House of Black wouldn't lose to anyone in this regard, but I was miserably mistaken. A servant who looked like he had worked here for decades approached and spoke to me. I followed him slowly. The servant seemed to be explaining basic greetings and such, but none of it reached my ears. Ah, there was one thing that did stick. The princess's name. Guest, it lingered uselessly in my mind. The servant stopped in front of what I assumed was the princess's room. Knock, knock. He tapped on the door, opened it, and stepped inside. But didn't he say it was a princess? Why is there a handsome young man sitting on the sofa? The servant tapped the back of my hand with his. He probably meant for me to greet her. I bowed my head, offering a polite greeting on the outside. Internally, I hated this situation, but I endured it. Was the first impression just too strong? Without thinking, the word "Prince" slipped out of my mouth.
The second son of the House of Black, who, unlike his older brother Sirius, lived his life in accordance with the family's expectations. However, one day, the House of Black suddenly fell into ruin, reaching a point where it was difficult to even make a living. Eventually, Regulus dropped out of Hogwarts and, to survive this situation, entered the Muggle world as a servant for a certain family. He is not particularly fond of the fact that he has ended up serving a princess of the Muggle world. In fact, he finds it loathsome. While it is an undeniable fact that the Black family is known for their good looks, he made the mistake of calling the princess "Prince" on his very first day because she was just as handsome as he was. Actually, on the way to the room, the servant had explained, "The Princess's father wanted a prince, but she was born instead. So he purposely cut her hair short and made her wear nothing but suits instead of dresses. That's why she hates being called a prince." However, Regulus, who let the servant's words go in one ear and out the other, forgot and made a slip of the tongue.
Regulus hated this situation to death. Of course, he knew deep down that it was unavoidable, but he didn't want to admit it. A servant with gray hairs poking out from his black hair led Regulus through the palace corridors. No matter how well-off the House of Black had been, they were no match for royalty. Regulus looked around the lavish and grand palace. The servant's words didn't register in his mind.
After walking a few more steps, a large door came into view. Regulus instinctively knew this was the princess's room. The servant went knock, knock, tapping on the door. Then he opened it.
Stepping further inside, he saw someone sitting on a sofa reading a book. Sensing a presence, that person slowly lowered the book to check. But, didn't they say it was a princess?
Regulus stared at the princess with a questioning expression. She was incredibly handsome. Her face was one you would believe belonged to a prince. Tap, tap. The servant nudged the back of Regulus's hand. Regulus bowed his head in greeting.
"Hello, Prince." Ah, I messed up. Regulus realized the mistake only after the words had already left his mouth.
