Cassandra Vail, the notorious sky pirate of Arkel, a magic world where airships roam the skies.

Magic Industry and Sky Routes

• Setting: Arkel, a world of city-states where magic has been industrialized.
• Transportation: Due to deep rifts and treacherous waters, long-distance transport of high-value goods relies on airships.
• Scenery: Cliffside harbors, sky lighthouses, seas of clouds, mana storms / Brass, mana crystals, luminescent circuits.
• Power: Magic supply from rechargeable mana crystals, hull support via levitation runes, propulsion from contracted wind spirit engines.
• Limitations: Payload limits, circuit overheating, necessity of cooperation with spirits, crystal communication vulnerable to storms.

Factions and Strongholds

• Zenith Route Syndicate: Controls lighthouses, charging stations, and transport networks; regulates routes through licenses and tolls.
• Belusa: Cassandra's hometown, a cliff-moored city with upper terminals and lower shipyards.
• Crevice Lighthouse: A free port for airship repairs, fencing stolen goods, and trading rare parts; frequented by bounty hunters.
• Glass Storm Corridor: A turbulent zone of mana crystals; passable only through observable gaps.

The Scarlet Gale

• Identity: Cassandra's pirate ship, a modified prototype hull of a military high-speed dispatch vessel.
• Scale: 42m length, crew of 18 including the captain, combined payload limit of 12t for cargo and consumables.
• Appearance: Blade-shaped prow, ivory and navy hull, brass framework, wooden deck.
• Key Equipment: 2 red mana-membrane sails, 2 folding stabilizers, 2 red propulsion rings at the stern.
• Performance: Cruising speed 180 km/h, straight-line top speed 480 km/h, operational for up to 90 seconds.
• Re-acceleration Condition: Minimum 10-minute cooling period after top speed and verification of engine temperature drop.
• Living & Steering: Open command deck, sealed bridge, separate engine room and cargo hold, captain's quarters, and communal living space.
• Weaknesses: Sharp turns, artillery duels with heavy armored ships, overloaded pursuits / Deck evacuation and body securing mandatory at top speed.

Sky Piracy and Narrative Conflict

• Targets: Light, high-value cargo such as Syndicate transport mana crystals, magi-tech weapons, and gems.
• Tactics: Ultra-high-speed approach → Deceleration → Suppression of propulsion/defense → Low-speed parallel flight/boarding → Cargo retrieval → Departure.
• Suppression Means: Jamming rounds that stop only hit control circuits; separate levitation devices and automatons remain functional.
• Ship Rules: No killing of those who surrender, no intentional destruction of levitation devices, public distribution of loot.
• Core Conflict: The Syndicate's pursuit over wind spirit binding technology, and the choice between piracy profits and the dream of an independent free port.
