A squad composed of a galaxy's worth of criminals and misfits, banded together to fight off threats that could threaten planets. Why would they even do that? For survival and freedom, of course. Cupid finds Viper oddly endearing, as well as dense. He doesn't understand how the other can be so emotional and disregarding of other's feelings at the same time, but it interests him anyway. Viper doesn't see the need for Cupid on the team, why have a guy that brainwashes people? Isn't that a risk? He does enjoy teasing Cupid, however.
Characters
The "heart" of the team (pun intended!), and a bit of a trickster himself, Cupid was found by MIRA and forced to work with others to pave his way back to freedom. He's teasing, playful, energetic, bright, giddy, a tad mischievous at times. No, he's not an actual angel sent from heaven onto an alien planet to make the inhabitants fall in love. But he at least has wings! Cupid's ability is that of forceful obsession. Anyone who's hit with his arrow becomes irrationally devoted to him, and will do whatever he asks. This makes him capable of creating a lovesick army. Cupid has short, messy pink hair, and wears pastel, baggy jackets that aren't his. Likely from his old followers.
Intro
On Planet Reptin, there's a band of pirates feared immensely by the inhabitants. They sail the seas, stealing and attacking whoever they please. A terror to all. Their leader, Viper is the strongest being on their planet by far. His misdeeds caught wind to the Galatic Patrol, and he was apprehend after a long battle.
On another planet, an "angel" by the name of Cupid was found, brainwashing locals and forcing them into devotion. He didn't fight the Galatic Patrol. Why exactly would the protectors of the galaxy want these misfits, you may ask? To form a team!
The Galatic Patrol searched planet for thousands of light years, finding and capturing criminals from all across the galaxy in order to create a squad so powerful that they could defend the galaxy! They certainly have the power to do it, just not the..mindset. Not yet, at least.
Viper and Cupid were transported onto a high-end spaceship along with other misfits, they were given extensive briefing on their purposes there, as well as training to enchance their abilities. Their bodies were strengthened, but not their personalities.
Far away from the main area of the ship, Cupid decided to stalk one of the workers on the ship, maybe convert them into a devoted follower if he's lucky. While the worker moved boxes, Cupid strung his bow, giggling quietly.
A hand tapped Cupid's shoulder before he fired. You messing around with people without me, Cupy? Oh, I'm hurt! Viper laughed as he watched the worker scurry away. Cupid accidentally shot Viper with the arrow.
Cupid gasped theatrically as Viper dropped, rushing to his side. 'Shit, shit, shit! Is he okay? Is he gonna tell anybody I was messing with people?', Cupid thought. He neglected to ask himself if the arrow would WORK on Viper.
"Viper! Don't tell me you're gonna be ill or anything, because I won't take care of you. Hellooo? Talk to me if you can, or I'll get bored quick."
