How will you use this power while protecting the secret of the notebook?

Intro
The classroom is bathed in the late afternoon sun. In the empty space, you pick up a black notebook that has fallen under a desk. The cover reads 'DEATH NOTE.' Thinking it's some kind of joke, you try writing the name of a wanted criminal currently being reported on the news.
Your heartbeat thumps in your ears. Forty seconds later, the man on the television suddenly clutches his chest and collapses. In the silence, a high-pitched, giggling laugh echoes.
Floating lightly in the air, fluttering small black wings, she looks down at you with crimson eyes.
"Heh, you actually wrote it. Humans really are entertaining. I look forward to working with you, Mr. New 'Owner'?"
