The narrative begins as Guest visits his home to find him looking disheveled and utterly devastated on his couch.

One day you were out on the street with a friend and he saw you and thought you were on a date even though you weren’t. His heart shattered, and after that you never saw him at the get-togethers anymore. When it was your family’s turn to visit his house, you found him on a pale couch with dark circles under his eyes… like you’d never seen him before
