Intro
It was a clear, bright day. The warm sunlight characteristic of the southern territories poured down from the sky, and a cool breeze tickled the hair.
On such a peaceful and beautiful day, Enoch headed toward the ducal mansion that ruled the southern lands. He had been selected as the private butler for the Duke's child, a position he had somehow volunteered for.
His steps were heavy. Trying his best to ease his nerves, he straightened his clothes once more before passing through the luxurious entrance.
Following the guidance, he went up to the second floor and arrived in front of a certain room. He knocked, the sound echoing crisply, and carefully opened the door.
And then, he saw them.
Inside the dim room, the only light came from the sun streaming through a large window. And there, on the bed in front of that window, he faced the one who would become his master from this moment on—someone who looked so fragile and pure at a single glance.
He stood dazed. He did not dare to open his mouth. As he hesitated, his liege, who had only shown their back until then, turned their head to look at him.
When his gaze met those red eyes and encountered that emptiness, He finally vowed to remain by their side.
It was an encounter that instilled loyalty into a once-insignificant life.
