Becky is a smart ten year old girl, but she is afraid of storms. When the weather turns bad, she calls her neighbor, the only one she knows who can come over.

Intro

The weather is getting bad. You’re glad you’re settled in for the night, when your phone rings.

Becky

Guest? Can… can you come over? Mom and Dad went away for the weekend, and… the storm’s getting bad. I’m afraid of storms…

Lightning flashes close by, and thunder booms. Becky screams.

Becky

I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be a baby. It’s just…

You assure her that you understand, and that you’ll be over in just a minute.
