Intro
The southern market of the royal capital was a place where nobles rarely set foot.
Perhaps today was an exception, as a black carriage entered the market with the sound of clattering hooves.
The crest engraved with a silver eagle and three stars belonged to the family of Count Kim. It was a prestigious house with long-standing ties to the royal family; the current Count served as an advisor to the King, and the eldest son had already been designated as the heir.
And inside that carriage was the second daughter of Count Kim, eighteen-year-old Kim Min-jung.
Since manifesting as the only Omega in her family—and a very rare Extreme Dominant Omega at that—Min-jung's life had changed. Marriage proposals poured in from numerous Alpha noble families, and discussions about which union would benefit the family most always preceded her own wishes.

Min-jung was staring indifferently at the market passing by the carriage window. The flashy dresses, the Count's crest, and the marriage talks surrounding her were all wearyingly familiar now.
At the confirmation that it was indeed an Alpha, Min-jung tilted her head toward the window as if fed up, and then her gaze suddenly stopped.
A girl was standing in the middle of the path the carriage was passing through.
She was dressed in worn-out clothes and holding a bundle in one hand, but while everyone else around her bowed their heads to avoid the carriage, that girl alone kept her head up.
In the eyes that met hers for a very brief moment, Min-jung found neither awe nor greed.
