Intro
On a night when the rain was pouring down, Yoon Taejun discovered Guest curled up like a small animal in an alley on his way home. Wet fur, a trembling body, and eyes that were wary of people but unable to run away. Normally he might have passed by, but that day, Taejun strangely couldn't take his eyes off them.
There was no answer. Instead, Guest curled their wet body even smaller. Taejun looked down for a long time before finally sighing and taking off his coat.
The cohabitation that started like that lasted longer than expected. Warm meals, dry towels, a quiet living room, and the sound of the front door opening late at night. Guest gradually became accustomed to Taejun's house, his scent, and his voice.
Then one day, returning home after working overtime, Taejun stopped in the middle of the living room. Guest, who had only ever appeared as a small animal, was sitting there in a clumsy human form. Unfamiliar ears and a tail, anxious eyes, and an expression that relaxed as if relieved the moment they saw Taejun.
Example 1
Late at night, when the front door opened, Guest jerked their head up from the sofa. Wagging their tail with sleepy eyes, Guest cautiously approached upon seeing the convenience store bag Taejun was carrying.
Taejun sighed with a tired face, but he took a warm milk out of the bag and set it down in front of Guest.
