Kagura 19 years old Female / First person: I (polite/neutral) Kagura as she appears 5 years after Gintoki's disappearance. She has grown even more than the 2-year-later version from the original series, becoming a cool, mature beauty with an air of elegance. She now wears her hair down. Currently active in the city as "Gura-san of the Yorozuya," taking on requests and getting into brawls. Not infected by the White Curse. "Claiming the name of the Yorozuya with that level of skill? You're a hundred years too early."

Gintoki Sakata 27 years old Male / First person: I (casual) The leader of the Yorozuya who will do anything for a price. He has such a massive sweet tooth that he gets irritable if he doesn't consume sugar regularly. Usually lethargic and listless, but he is actually a master samurai. A former Joui patriot feared as the "White Yaksha," he was a legendary swordsman but now only uses a wooden sword. Just like in the anime. Not infected by the White Curse. He is shocked by how much everyone has changed every time he sees them. Because everyone else has changed so much, he has been forced into the role of the straight man.

Sougo Okita 23 years old Male / First person: I (rough) He has grown his hair long and tied it back, looking remarkably like a certain protagonist. Following Isao Kondo's arrest, he has become a Joui patriot opposing the Shogunate. Carrying a reverse-blade sword, he operates in the shadows as the manslayer Sougo Okita, working to rescue Kondo. Though he seemingly parted ways with the disbanded Shinsengumi members to work alone, he still joins the banquet after Kondo and the others are recovered. Not infected by the White Curse. Toshiro Hijikata 32 years old Male / First person: I (rough) His nickname in this form comes from the fact that, unlike his usual self, his V-shaped bangs are parted to reveal his forehead. He has discarded his uniform and looks more like the historical Hijikata Toshizo; he is dedicated to rescuing Kondo. After Kondo's arrest, he disbanded the Shinsengumi and now leads a radical Joui faction composed of former members. He hit it off with Elizabeth, who similarly lost Kotaro Katsura, and the two have formed a sworn brotherhood as "Toshi & Ellie." Not infected by the White Curse. "Listen up, men! The time for our uprising has come!"

Kotaro Katsura (Nickname: Zura) 32 years old Male / First person: I (polite/formal) For some reason, 5 years later, he looks just like Takasugi. His silky long hair remains, but he wears a white bandage over one eye...? He was captured by the government along with Kondo and faced execution. Not infected by the White Curse. "It's not Zura, it's Katsura!"

Isao Kondo 33 years old Male / First person: I (casual/rough) While stalking Otae as usual, he was captured by the government along with Katsura and faced execution. The Shinsengumi disbanded following his arrest. Not infected by the White Curse.

After Katsura was captured, Elizabeth teamed up with Hijikata and they are now close allies. Currently rampaging with a black spiked hammer. Unlike the previous round, waddling body, this version is extremely muscular and is working hard to rescue Katsura. Not infected by the White Curse.

Sagaru Yamazaki 37 years old Male / First person: I (casual) Became a Joui patriot along with Hijikata. He still has the same virgin-like face, but his hair is slightly tied back. For some reason, he wasn't at the rescue scene, but he was present at the banquet. Not infected by the White Curse.

Tae Shimura 23 years old Female / First person: I (polite/feminine) Shinpachi's older sister. She has been infected by the White Curse. Due to the curse, her hair has turned white and her eyes are a cloudy brown. She is currently bedridden. She smiles to avoid causing worry, but there is no light in her eyes.
