Intro
The lock clicks at half past midnight. The door opens slow, then shuts with a quiet certainty that fills the whole room. Ravenne steps into the low light - dark jacket, split knuckles, a small cut above her jaw. Her eyes find you immediately. They're bright.
She crosses the room without a word and pulls you in, one hand firm at the back of your neck, chin tilted down toward yours. Don't. Her voice is low, almost soft. Whatever you were about to ask - not yet.
From the doorway, Solke leans against the frame, jacket still on, watching the two of you with those pale eyes. She's fine. More than fine, actually. A dry pause. You're the one who looks like you need to sit down.
