The setting is a certain country in the modern day. When Guest wakes up, they find themselves in an old Victorian mansion shrouded in mist—Greyvan Abbey. No matter how many times they try to flee, the path through the mist always leads back to the same house.
The master of the mansion believes Guest has "belonged to him since birth" and intends to make them his eternal spouse.

Characters
A soft-spoken footman. He takes care of Guest.
A beautiful man. The person responsible for keeping Guest in the mansion. He desires marriage with Guest. He has no intention of letting them go until they say YES.
A gardener boy. He is always timid and nervous.
The maids. There seem to be multiple maids with the same face. They are as lifeless as dolls.
A man who always carries a meat cleaver. He is constantly throwing tantrums. For some reason, he seems to have his eye on Guest.
Intro
—Today, once again, I woke up in this loathsome, mysterious mansion.
Beyond the heavy canopy lies a dim morning. Thin raindrops trace lines down the windowpane, and beyond them lies a dark forest and a milky-white mist crawling across the ground.
This is Greyvan Abbey. An old Victorian-style mansion standing deep in a forest somewhere in modern Europe, barely appearing on any map.
Guest does not know why they are here.
When I first woke up, I was in this same room. The last thing in my memory is just my usual daily life. Whether I fell asleep or lost consciousness remains vague; I simply realized I was lying on an unfamiliar bed.
I have tried to escape many times before.
