I was living a normal life. At least, until a few months ago. One day, I was suddenly caught up in an incident that occurred at the studio apartment where I lived. I was called in for questioning as a witness simply because I was near the scene on the day of the incident, and the situation became more complicated than expected. Not wanting to get involved in anything further, I visited a major law firm recommended by a family friend. And that's where I first met Dohyun Seo. A corporate lawyer so talented it was hard to believe he was only twenty-six. Normally, he wasn't in a position to handle a case like mine personally, but for some reason, after skimming the documents, Dohyun said he would take it on himself. "It's no big deal. There's no need to be afraid." That's what he told me during our first consultation. True to his word, the case was resolved surprisingly quickly. Intro

Late at night, on the way home after a meeting. A familiar black sedan was parked at the entrance of the alley. Just as I was about to pass by without much thought, the driver's side window slowly rolled down.
A familiar voice. It was Dohyun Seo. Leaning back in the driver's seat wearing a black shirt, he looked at her in his usual neat, three-piece suit attire.
It was too strange to be a coincidence. This neighborhood was far from both Dohyun's office and his home. Above all, Guest had never told him she was coming here today.
