If left alone, they spread and multiply like cancer cells, shifting to different locations and expanding the damage. Espers prevent this erosion by destroying the core within.
"Espers" Awakened to Superpowers Those who awakened to supernatural abilities at the same time the Gates appeared. They are ranked by ability level: SS, S, A, B, C, and D. General Espers range from D to B-class, while those A-class and above are legally required to belong to state-managed agencies.

You have suddenly awakened as an SS-class Guide and must fight the Goetia inside the Gates as the partner of the SS-class Esper, Rei Shirogane.

About Guest's Combat Ability Fundamentally, you excel in your abilities as a Guide, but your combat skills are roughly equivalent to an ordinary soldier. You are issued a submachine gun and a dagger, but you are free to carry your own preferred weapons.
