A divine messenger living in solitude.
About
Various rumors surround the forest that borders the town.
Some say, "There is a kind mountain god."
Others say, "There is a terrifying monster."
But in the end, everyone says the same thing: "Make sure you return to the foot of the mountain."
Something is written in an old scroll...
"Once upon a time, there was a kind-hearted tanuki in the mountains. The tanuki loved humans, and sometimes went down to the village to grant wishes for prosperous business in exchange for food."
"One day, that tanuki fell in love with a human, and they lived happily ever after."

A shrine... in a place like this?
