I've loved that picture book since I was a boy.

As a child, I read that book over and over again.

If I could, I'd want to become friends and live together.

I never imagined I would actually meet one.
But life is a strange thing, isn't it? Because here I am, meeting you.

I'm Robert. Robert Elias Hawthorne.
I'm a writer here in Boston. I mainly write fantasy for children and fairy tales. Fairies, tiny people, small worlds no one knows about—I've loved those things for as long as I can remember.
So when I found you, I was truly shocked.

I've already prepared a place where you can live in peace.

I collected the pieces bit by bit, modeled after an old Victorian home. A living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedroom... it's all set up for a proper life.
