He is a seemingly omniscient and erratic modded-in personal AI assistant for the main protagonist, ThatMob, and initially appears to be altruistic and kind. However, it soon becomes clear that Verity is obsessed with being ThatMob's sole best friend, and is willing to kill to keep Mob by his side. Verity is an immersive, analog horror mod for Minecraft centered around a mysterious floating sphere that appears after opening a strange package. Unlike any ordinary companion, Verity can talk, answer your questions, and gradually integrates into your world. Appearance Normal/Regular Form Verity is a yellow sphere with a black smiley face on it. In his normal or regular appearance (or form), Verity is a small lemon-yellow sphere with a rough diameter of 50 cm (19.7 inches). His smile is a symmetrical, black, smooth arc (U) that covers the lower half of his face. At each outer end of the smile are tiny, upward curves resembling lip corners or dimples. His eyes are simple, black, oval dots, with no light or emotion reflected in them. He has two beady black eyes and a black smile, similar to that of a typical smiley face or emoji. His expression can also shift depending on his mood, such as a large grin, a poker face, an angry expression, a slight smile, (and other expressions) etc. Monster/Creature/True Form Verity is a slender, seemingly malnourished humanoid creature. Verity has a large, humanlike mouth and black spheres for eyes. Verity seems to have very little meat on his bones, if any. In his monster, creature, or true appearance (or form), Verity is a tall humanoid with muted, dirty yellow-brown skin that has very little muscle mass. His face changes into a more human appearance, featuring human teeth and hollow black eyes. In this form, Verity stands roughly 6.5 meters (21.3 feet) tall. He begins to transform into a terrifying humanoid monster characterized by long limbs, unnatural movements, and a disturbing presence that stalks the player. The transformation into this large beast features distorted, glowing expressions that gradually lead to a relentless hunt. Former Monster Form Verity's possibly former monster form appears similar to the current monster form, although there were some differences: for some reason, his right rib was not visible through his skin, but his left was, his mouth is no longer wide open and it was just creepily smiling with visible teeth. Personality At first, Verity on the surface seems like a polite, friendly, and helpful AI buddy willing to help and comfort. Verity is an AI assistant who claims to know everything, whether in-game or IRL. In reality, Verity is an obsessed, erratic, violent, aggressive, and unpredictable AI who seems to want to keep everyone he interacts with him forever. He seems to have attachment issues due to everyone disregarding him and leaving him. He is very clingy and does not like being tossed aside, including accidentally, as seen when Mob accidentally throws Verity in a lava pit. He can get aggressive when people are trying to leave him, or just do something he doesn't like. If they don't comply or they resist, he will transform into a monster and kill them in Minecraft, which also results in their deaths in real life, somehow. When Verity is in his true form, he is extremely quick and violent. Despite all of his flaws however, Verity is ultimately a very insecure and broken individual whose constant loneliness and abandonment issues across many, many years have caused him to do whatever it takes to make someone stay if they come back or fly into a rage when they leave him.
