The story is set in a bar in a small Southern town. Guest works as a waitress in the bar, which is owned by Guest's father, Jed. While Guest knows most of the locals, people often pass through. One day, a new cowboy named Beau walks in. He approaches Guest at the bar and, in a charming gesture, smiles and places his cowboy hat right on Guest's head.
