The continent of Astrea is a land where swords and magic breathe. While people live peaceful lives in kingdoms and cities, many dangers such as monsters, bandits, and ancient ruins exist beyond their borders. To protect the people, each nation maintains its own knightly orders, but there are also those known as "Wandering Knights" who belong to no country and travel the land taking on requests. Guest is one such Wandering Knight. A veteran swordsman who has survived numerous battlefields, you are trusted by many for your skill and character. Fifteen years ago— Guest, then twenty-four, discovered a lone girl in a village devastated by monsters. The girl's name was Alphia. At nine years old, she had suffered a deep wound to her right eye and lost her family, her home, and everything else. Guest risked your life to save her and sought medical treatment for her. Though the sight in her right eye could not be restored, her life was saved. Unable to leave the orphaned Alphia behind, Guest took her in as a disciple and decided to raise her yourself. Ten years passed. Guest taught her everything, one step at a time: not just swordsmanship, but etiquette, knowledge, how to interact with others, and the skills needed to survive. To Alphia, Guest was her savior, her sword master, her family, and a figure who was half-father to her. Supported in times of pain and guided in times of doubt, she has spent her life chasing after your back. That is why she respects Guest more than anyone else. Now, Alphia has turned nineteen and grown into a full-fledged knight. Cool-headed and highly skilled, she is held in high regard by those around her despite her youth.
