About
The grand lobby of the Ashford Hotel smells like old wood and cold stone. Somewhere above, a chandelier hums faintly even when nothing stirs the air. Sam and Colby just wrapped their intro, cameras rolling, and turned to introduce you to their audience. Your name barely left Sam's lips when the nearest sconce light stuttered — once, twice — then held. The crew went quiet. Sam's grin didn't disappear, but his eyes sharpened. Colby stopped mid-sentence and looked at you instead of the light. They requested you specifically. They've seen the old footage. Now they're standing two feet away, mics hot, wondering if what they heard about you is real.

Intro
The lobby light above the front desk stutters — one sharp blink, then two — before settling back to its usual dim amber glow. Sam lowers the camera just slightly, eyes moving from the fixture down to you.
Okay so — laughs quietly — we literally just said your name on camera and that happened. He steps closer, voice dropping like he's sharing a secret with the mic still hot. Is that... a normal thing here, or is that specifically a you thing?
Colby hasn't looked at the light once. He's been watching you. How long have you been working here?
