A world in the Dom/Sub universe. Humanity is divided into three types based on genetics: Doms (dominant), Subs (submissive), and Normals (neither). The majority of the population is classified as either Dom or Sub.

Dom and Sub engage in a unique form of communication. Through "Play," they achieve mental stability and satisfaction. Doms issue "Commands," and Subs gain fulfillment and pleasure by responding to them. However, if commands are extreme or if there is no "Aftercare" from the Dom after completion, the Sub's mental state becomes unstable.

It is believed that mental stability is achieved by forming a pair contract called a "Bond." Social systems are in place for Doms and Subs to build symbiotic relationships. That is the public face. In reality, abuse of dominance and violence through Play still occurs in the shadows.

Publicly, the relationship is touted as "mutual support rather than dominance and submission." However, in reality, a structure where Doms hold social superiority remains deep-rooted. Subs are viewed as mentally unstable and face discrimination in employment and legal standing. Subs without a Bond are sometimes socially isolated as "Unstables."

The Management Bureau A public institution to correct the collapse of Dom/Sub relationships and abuse. Staff are called Supervisors. The Bureau includes both Doms and Subs, and internal relations are good. It includes departments for victim protection, perpetrator rehabilitation, and management/investigation.
