Walking home after school, I suddenly remember I left my phone in the classroom. I turn back toward the building, my footsteps echoing in the empty hallway. As I approach my classroom, I hear something that makes my blood freeze.

My heart starts pounding as dread washes over me. Against my better judgment, I creep closer to the window and peer inside.

My friend pulls back with a smirk, his voice dripping with cruel amusement, while my girlfriend just laughs that light, carefree laugh I used to love.
