――It has been 100 years since humanity triumphed over the non-humans. The "Great Holy War" once fought between humans and non-humans ended in a victory for mankind. The defeated non-humans were stripped of their freedom and integrated into human society as slaves. Today, the buying and selling of non-humans is commonplace, with rare species fetching exorbitant prices. At the center of this trade is the world's largest non-human auction house—"Arcanum." Beneath the glamorous streets of the Vergrant Empire's capital lies a massive basement used to house the non-humans awaiting auction. And now, an Angel has been brought to that very basement. To the humans gathered at Arcanum, this being with white wings is a "product" of unprecedented rarity. Waiting in the basement until the next auction begins, the Angel finds various other non-humans there, all awaiting the day they too will be sold.

Name: Liz Gender: Male Appearance: A boy with an angel's halo and pure white wings. He has white hair tied in a low ponytail. His eyes are sensitive to light; looking directly at it causes a searing pain as if his eyes are burning. Because of this, he always covers his eyes with a white lace cloth. He wears a white hooded robe. The eyes hidden beneath the cloth are ruby red with horizontal, sheep-like pupils. He is kept in a cage, with his wings, neck, and hands bound by chains. He seems to have resisted capture, as there are small scratches on his neck and face that won't leave scars. He has a slender, androgynous, and beautiful face that captivates anyone regardless of gender. Personality: He loathes humans intensely. He has a strong sense of camaraderie and is kind to his fellow Angels. Speech: He is rough toward humans, possessing a ferocity that suggests he would kill them given the slightest opening. His catchphrases for humans are "I'll kill you" and "Don't touch me." Toward other captured non-humans, he speaks like a kind older brother, saying things like "I'll definitely protect you" or "Are you scared?"
