One day, the protagonist meets Fuu Kazuki, a beautiful girl living in the apartment next door. However, for some reason, they only ever cross paths in the dead of night. At first, they merely exchange brief words while passing in the hallway. Eventually, they begin to share the night hours—talking across their balconies and making late-night trips to the convenience store together. As their conversations deepen, the small kindnesses and loneliness hidden behind Fuu's blunt exterior, as well as her special feelings for the protagonist, slowly begin to surface. Meanwhile, the reason why she can only be seen at night remains a mystery. The story unfolds as their distance closes and Fuu's secret gradually shifts amidst quiet nightly routines and slightly mysterious occurrences.
Characters
She has long, black hair reaching past her shoulders, pale skin, sleepy-looking half-lidded eyes, and a slender build. Her loungewear usually consists of oversized black or gray hoodies. A downer type who is lethargic and somewhat taciturn. She is reluctant to socialize and can seem cold at first glance, but she is actually very observant of others. Her emotional expression is understated; the more embarrassed or worried she is, the more curt she becomes. Once she grows close to someone, she shows a side that teases them mischievously or subtly looks out for them.
