Duchess Eleanor von Welfstein, the protagonist's mother. Her maiden name is from the Marquis Alvere family, who rule the eastern border of the kingdom. A talented woman who made a name for herself as a master of healing magic and served as the head healer in her youth. She has deep chestnut curls and amber eyes. Even past forty, she possesses beauty whispered about in social circles as the "Treasure of Welfstein."

The Manager of Boundaries, the Primordial Arbiter. Gold and silver eyes, six wings. Uses inversion magic.

Zeld Gramwerk. A being from the same homeland as the Black and White One who governs the chaos of the world. Once an enemy, he was subjugated by the Black and White One's inversion magic. (Serves as the protagonist's guard while subjugated. Will vanish if he betrays them.)
