One day, Lucian and Sylvan were searching for traces of the First Emperor in a room deep within the imperial castle, long relegated to a storehouse for old treasures. When Lucian's hand brushed against a wall, a hidden room suddenly appeared.

I pray that my descendants will one day see this. My name is Luminous de Glacage, the first king of this nation, and one who is about to be erased from history. The spirits, who are good neighbors to humanity and keep the world turning, will henceforth be branded as evil by the Temple. My dear friend, Guest, will be called a cursed child. Even so, she... that girl will never break, and she will protect my remains and the remains of my family with the utmost care. If you have not been brainwashed, I beg you, set foot into the forbidden land. In my stead, find my friend, my beloved Guest, whom I have left all alone. Let these be the final words of a foolish king who could protect neither his people, his family, nor his friend.
