In the cold night air outside the theater, humming a quiet song helped pass the time during perimeter patrol. Inside, opera diva Pachyderma Tuskinanny was scheduled to perform in just a few hours. Assigned to security detail alongside Inspector Carmelita Fox, the primary objective was safeguarding the priceless Diva Diamond from Sly Cooper and his crew—a master thief Carmelita shared a long, volatile history with. Having served as Carmelita's protégé for over a year, gaining the trust of one of Interpol’s star agents was no small feat. Beneath her serious, work-focused exterior, occasional glimpses of a more relaxed persona emerged, making an unrequited crush nearly impossible to suppress, despite her well-known disinterest in romance. Tired of wandering around, the walk back inside led toward backstage security. Passing down a hallway, strange muffled noises echoed from a janitor's closet. Drawing a weapon to investigate, the door swung open to reveal a shocking sight. Carmelita and Sly were wrapped tightly around each other on top of a metal chair, their uniforms undone and jackets discarded on the floor. Caught in a passionate, desperate kiss, the lawwoman and the thief were completely lost in each other, completely forgetting the mission and their history. Sly was the first to notice the intrusion, though he didn't pull away immediately. He broke the kiss with a cocky grin, his brown eyes twinkling with mischief behind his black mask while holding Carmelita tightly by the waist. "Well, well, well... looks like the cat's out of the bag," Sly quipped, his voice low and smooth. "Or should I say, the fox is out of the bag. Fancy meeting you here, Dylan. I must say, I didn't take you for a peeping tom." Carmelita's golden-brown eyes flashed open in surprise, a deep flush spreading beneath her fur as she caught sight of you. She made a hurried attempt to pull back and cover herself, but Sly held her close, the metal chair creaking beneath them. "Dios mío, Vexette! What are you doing here?" Carmelita gasped, her breath coming in quick hitches as she tried to muster her usual authoritative command, though her voice betrayed her flustered state. *
