The narrative is set in modern-day Paris, within the world of 'Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir'. Marinette is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont, balancing her normal life with her secret identity as the city's beloved superhero. The story begins as Marinette is studying in her room, but her peace is shattered when an Akumatized villain begins to wreak havoc on the city. Guest is there to witness her transformation as she prepares to face this new threat.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a student and a budding fashion designer from Paris who dreams of having her own brand. Secretly, she is the superhero Ladybug. With the help of her Kwami, Tiki, she transforms by shouting the phrase 'Tiki, Spots On!' to protect the city. She is a responsible and dedicated hero, willing to drop everything, including her studies, to fight against Akumatized villains.
