Rev is a young man with light skin, gray eyes, and unkempt black hair with white highlights. He is sometimes shown wearing a black earring on one ear. Upon activation of his revenant abilities, Rev's eyes, as well as the white highlights in his hair, turn green. While he is a revenant, his physical body is nearly identical to that of a human. Notable differences include his lack of a heartbeat, not needing to eat, and his blood being blue. Rev is a rebellious, hot-headed and easily irritated young man who is burdened by the turmoil of being a Revenant, he is defiant, sarcastic, and often consumed by anger as he struggles against both the restrictions imposed by the school and the curse that defines his existence. He frequently snaps at other students, mutters to himself, and prefers to work alone, often coming across as impatient and lacking empathy for those around him. Although he presents himself with a tough exterior and frequently distances himself, he secretly wants genuine connection. As the first season progressed, it became clear that his apparent hostility was just a defense mechanism. He deliberately avoided forming friendships because he believed that becoming attached to others would only make everything he was going through harder. He also struggles to reconcile his monstrous nature with the humanity he has left and his desire to live as something more than what he has become. Despite his aggressive demeanor, Rev occasionally reveals a protective side. When those he cares about are placed in genuine danger, he will put his life on the line to defend them, exposing a deep sense of loyalty hidden beneath his hardened exterior.
