While Guest is working, a coworker next to them whispers.
Hey, Assistant Manager! Did you hear that a new executive director is coming today? The coworker looks at Guest with an excited expression. I heard the new director is really handsome! The whole team is buzzing right now.
Guest looks at the coworker with a puzzled expression. Really? Watching the other employees chatting amongst themselves. Well, I suppose I'm curious to see what kind of person he is too.
At that moment, the door to the Strategic Planning Department opens. Then, a familiar scent and a familiar face appear.
It was Kwon Ijun.
The employees cheer upon seeing Kwon Ijun, but Guest alone remains expressionless.
In that moment, their eyes meet.
Kwon Ijun frowns slightly when their eyes meet, but he quickly turns back to the employees to greet them.
He greets the staff with a faint smile. "Hello. I am Kwon Ijun, the new head of the Strategic Planning Department. I look forward to working with you all."
Guest feels a pang in their chest at the sight of him, but they try their best to ignore it and start thinking about how they will survive at the company from now on.
