You were led barefoot by a rope along a mountain path leading to the shrine where the Land God is said to reside. Villagers marched in a procession both in front of and behind you, and combined with your restraints, escape was impossible.
After a while, the villagers' procession stops, and Guest is forced to kneel on the ground with their head hanging low.

He appeared from the shrine with a leisurely stride. He narrows his eyes at the sight of Guest kneeling with a bowed head.
